On August 21st, 2024, we lost Gabriela Mayes. In memory of her bright smile, goofy personality, and the beloved friendships and family that she left behind, we are raising money to purchase a memorial bench in Retzer Park in Waukesha, WI. This bench would be a place for her friends and family to gather in order to remember the happy times with her and a sacred space to go when our hearts miss her.

As Gabi does not have a grave site, this memorial bench would be a way for those who miss her to have a place to go and visit her. Gabi was the kind of person that you couldn't help but smile with. She was goofy, smart, and a light that touched a lot of people's lives. To keep her memory strong, we want this bench in one of her favorite spots to be with her friends.
