Friendly, kind, creative, helpful, energetic.  Whether it was nurturing a new player on the volleyball court, supporting his mother and sister at home, or developing a new video game, Fred Miller was relentlessly upbeat in everything he did.  His positivity touched everyone around him and made us all better.

He is gone far too soon and we all feel the loss.  In particular his mother Rosemary is in need of help.  Fred recently moved back with home to help her and his sister Gale.  In addition to the loss of his day to day support the cost of final arrangements has placed an unmanageable burden upon them and they are in dire need of assistance.

Many have asked what they could do in Fred’s memory and I can think of nothing better than helping those he loved most.

My name is Terry McNamara and I was a friend of Fred's here in Long Beach, NY.  We played volleyball together for many years.  The objective of this campaign is to raise funds to help Fred's mother, Rosemary Miller, with the costs related to his final arrangements and to provide some of the support she lost with his passing.  In order to simplify the process for her I will be withdrawing the funds and writing her a check for the amount raised (less GoFundMe fees and charges).
