The Thompson family is heartbroken as we mourn the loss of our precious Caleigh "Fatty Gurl" Thompson, who just celebrated her 11th birthday. Born on June 15, 2014, in Mobile, Alabama, to Chequana Thompson and Paul O’Bair, Caleigh—affectionately known as "Fatty Gurl"—touched the lives of everyone she met with her infectious smile, her laughter, and her vibrant spirit.
Caleigh spent much of her life in Mobile, AL, and Milwaukee, WI, where she was a 5th grader at Cross Trainers Academy. She was a kind and loving sister, always playing with her siblings and cousins, spreading joy wherever she went. Whether she was styling her baby doll’s hair or carefully putting on a set of press-on nails, Caleigh’s love for the simple pleasures in life showed just how big her heart was.
Tragically, Caleigh’s life has been shaken by a sudden asthma attack, and she is now fighting for her life. As a family, we hold on to hope and prayer during this incredibly difficult time. We humbly ask for your support—whether through prayers or any donations that God has placed on your heart—to help us navigate this heart-wrenching journey.
Please keep Caleigh, our sweet "Fatty Gurl," in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to hope for a miracle. Every ounce of love and support means the world to us in this moment of overwhelming pain. Our family thanks you for the time you invested in reading our message and may God bless you!
