Remembering Fidelmar: A Life of Kindness

Fidelmar Salinas was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Talking to him, even if it was for the first time, felt like talking to a friend you’ve known forever. He had endless advice and stories about any topic you could think of. He was always there for everyone.

His greatest achievement in life were his 3 kids, Fernando, Bryan, and Maricel. He posted them loudly and was always their biggest fan. There is nothing in this world he was more proud of than being their father.

He worked at Pop’s Place in River Grove for over 15 years greeting everyone with a smile and making it a family favorite for those who frequented it.

Fidelmar suddenly passed after a battle in the hospital on March 18, 2025 surrounded by his family. At this time we ask for any help possible to give him a proper celebration of life before sending him to be with the Lord. Thank you for the many prayers and words of encouragement.
