Remembering Eric: A Life Cut Short

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

It is with shattered hearts that we share the news of the passing of Eric Aguirre, a beloved son, brother, friend, and soul who left this world far too soon. At just 21 years old, Eric lost his battle with addiction—a struggle he fought with courage, hope, and an open heart.

Eric was more than his addiction. He was kind, creative, and full of light. He dreamed of a better life and took real steps toward healing. He entered recovery, found support, and eventually began helping others who faced similar demons. For a time, it seemed he had turned a corner. He wanted to live—really live—and we all saw the spark in his eyes return.

But as many know, addiction is a relentless disease. Despite his efforts, Eric fell back into its grip. On June 23rd, his battle ended suddenly and tragically.

Now, as we grieve, we are also faced with the overwhelming cost of giving Eric the dignified farewell he deserves. We are reaching out to you—friends, family, and anyone moved by his story—for help covering funeral and memorial expenses.

Every dollar raised will go toward:
