On February 24, 2025, Eric Dewayne Jackson III, who was only 23 years old, was called home to be joined with his beloved mother. He was a young man, who was very quiet and kept to himself for the most part. Growing up, he was his big brother Da'Arion's shadow. Everywhere his brother went, he wanted to go. He looked up to his brother and aspired to be like him when he got older. The passing of his mother in October of 2021, broke his heart, and he never fully recovered from losing her. He loved his mom and his big brother dearly. He spoke with his big brother weekly and recently called him to wish him a happy birthday on February 9th. After his passing, his big brother discovered that there wasn't any insurance, and is trying to pay out-of-pocket for his funeral costs. Anything anyone can donate will help his big brother in laying him to rest in a way that will be approved by our beloved, late Latisha (Tish) Potts.
