On the morning of January 30th, our dear friends Alejandro Alvarez and Valeria Morera lost their wonderful and beloved son, Emilio, at the age of 15. Emilio had a rare bone cancer which eventually defied his strength, courage and medical science. He had much loved siblings, Matilde and Gaspar, and many friends and loved ones by his side along the way. We admire Emilio for his courage and we are all heartbroken.

Funds collected here will go directly to Valeria, Alejandro, Matilde and Gaspar, who will use them to honour Emilio. Their wishes are to both support childhood cancer research efforts, as well as families who are struggling with similar circumstances.
