This week, the Williams family experienced the unimaginable loss of their beloved 14-year-old son, Dylan.

Robert and Jamie, along with Dylan’s three sisters — Brionna, Maya, and Makayla — are heartbroken as they try to navigate the overwhelming pain of this unexpected tragedy. During this difficult time, the family will be away from work as they grieve, make arrangements, and begin the long process of healing. We are asking for financial support to help ease the burden of funeral expenses and everyday needs so that the family can focus on one another and honoring Dylan’s memory.

Although Dylan’s story was far too short, he leaves behind a lasting impact on everyone who knew and loved him. His family wants everyone to remember the incredible young man he was — his passion for music, his gentle and kind spirit, and the joy he brought to children and friends alike. Dylan was known for his unforgettable smile, his soft, beautiful hair, his kind heart, and the warmth he carried everywhere he went.

He proudly performed in The Saline Middle School Jazz Band, and also played in a band he created with friends, “School of Rock.” More recently, he discovered a love for track and field and just this week had a PR as he embraced the new experience with determination and heart. He had a quiet light about him that made people feel welcome, valued, and loved.

Dylan was loved beyond measure, and any support and kindness shown to the Williams family during this heartbreaking time will mean the world to them. They recognize and appreciate those that have already reached out with words of support and thank you all!
