It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Dustin Wertz this past week. Dustin was a beloved son, friend, and dedicated brewer whose presence touched so many lives.

Dustin began his journey with Shamrock Brewing Company in 2008. Through years of hard work, passion, and commitment to his craft, he became the head brewer in 2017. Brewing wasn’t just a job for Dustin — it was an art and a science that he mastered with intelligence, creativity, and pride. He was incredibly smart, thoughtful, and deeply respected by his coworkers and the many patrons who enjoyed the beers he crafted.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dustin was the only child of his loving mother, Peri. Their bond was strong and irreplaceable. As Peri navigates this unimaginable loss, we are coming together as a community to offer support during this painful time.
