Remembering Drevon: A Family's Plea
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Amber Barton. My nephew, Drevon Rawson was murdered this morning 7/6/25 in Farmington, Missouri. He had only recently turned 24 years old. Sadly, he never got the chance to get married and have children as that possibility was stolen from him. He had so much life left in him!! Our family will always have a missing piece to our puzzle. My nephew went to visit a friend at his apartment complex. When he arrived, he went up the wrong set of steps and ended up at a different apartment. I am not sure of all of the details as of now but what I do know is he was shot in the breezeway of an apartment… 5 times in the face/head and chest. Autopsy is completed. Drevon was a man who loved his family and friends fiercely. My sister Brandy (Drevons mother) and Drevons father, Leaman were not expecting his untimely death and did not have life insurance. Anything you can give to help will go directly towards funeral services and a headstone. If you can find it in your heart to donate something, anything, it would mean the world to us. If you cant give anything, prayers for our family will suffice. He deserves the best service and that’s what we are trying to achieve here. Thank you so much! Updates will be given soon. ❤️
UPDATE: The man who shot Drevon has officially been charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Friday July 18, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until service time of 1:00 P.M. with Pastor James Parker officiating. Burial to follow at Buster Cemetery in Valles Mines.
Donations can still be given here or can be made directly to the funeral home.https://www.czboyer.com/obituaries/drevon-rawson
