Remembering Donna

We are heartbroken and completely devastated over the sudden transition of Donna Smith-Williams. On Fri. February 4th Donna went into cardiac arrest, resulting in severe brain damage due to a lack of oxygen to her brain for a significant period of time. She is in a coma and has been on life support…

Due to the lack of oxygen to the brain, she suffered from severe brain damage. Since the incident, she has been on life support but our family knows this is not the way she would want to live. Our family has made the tough decision to let our beloved Donna go home to God.

Donna is remembered as a woman of wisdom, creativity, love, and was always her authentic self. Her endless love and support for her family and friends touched the hearts of many. Her creativity was inspirational, she was art. She would sing songs for hours and be the last one to leave the dance floor. She was a complete innovator when it came to turning a house into a home. She joined a long line of strong, independent, We remember Donna for her resiliency, grit, and unbelievable strength. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be truly missed.

Donna’s friends, family members, and peers have been reaching out asking how they can help. There are so many unknowns, so prayers and positive energy are needed most at this time. Exact expenses for her funeral/memorial and family support are currently unknown, but if you feel called to make a donation for Donna and her family, please do so.
