Help Lay Desiree Herrera to Rest & Support Her Sons

On June 17, 2025, our beloved Desiree Herrera was tragically taken from us during a mental health crisis in Albuquerque. She was shot and killed by police. She was only 36 years old.

Desiree was more than the headlines—she was a kind-hearted woman with a gentle spirit, always quick to offer a compliment, a prayer, or a helping hand. She loved the Lord with all her heart and tried every day to show that love to others.

She leaves behind two sons who are now grieving the unimaginable:

Andre (22) – a devoted young father to his son Alejandro, with another baby on the way.

Anthony (14) – will be starting high school this fall and is now facing life without his mom’s loving guidance.

We are reaching out to ask for your help in covering Desiree’s burial and final expenses, and to offer some financial relief to her sons as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
