Remembering DeJuan T. Coleman

Donation protected
Our beloved DeJuan Teresa Coleman passed away on June 2, 2017. Many have reached out requesting a way to give a donation so this GoFundMe was set up.

DeJuan Teresa Roberts Coleman was born December 13, 1972, in Mobile, AL as the first born of Fred and Annette Roberts, Sr. She was raised in Mt. Vernon, AL with 4 very close siblings - Fred, Frenette, Jessica and Jennifer. There was never a dull moment in the house.

DeJuan was a straight-A student and graduated Valedictorian from Citronelle High School in Citronelle, AL. From there she attended Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 1996. While attending Alabama A&M University, DeJuan met the love of her life, Michael Coleman, Jr., through a mutual friend/roommate. As a result they became inseparable and married September 1, 1995. From their union they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Aliya Bre'on Coleman.

DeJuan lived life full of joy and laughter. She had a smile and laugh that would brighten any room. She credited her joy to GRACE - JESUS. Her faith and confidence in God's Love was passed down from her loving grandmother, Gustarean Roberts. DeJuan was a light and encouragement to everyone she met. As a member of World Changers Church International, DeJuan learned of the Grace of God, Jesus, and it was through the revelation of God's Grace for us that her confidence and faith in God's Love for her grew and strengthened more. She truly became a World Changer, 'making a mark that could never be erased'!

DeJuan will be forever remembered by her devoted and loving husband of 21 years, Michael Coleman, Jr.; her loving and devoted daughter, Aliya Bre'on Coleman; her loving parents, Fred and Annette Roberts, Sr.; her doting grandfather, Jessie L. Jones; her loving siblings Fred (Jarmelle) Roberts, Jr., Frenette Roberts, Jessica (Isaiah) Williams, and Jennifer Jones; her devoted father and mother-in-law Michael and Patsy Coleman, Sr.; her loving brothers and sisters-in-law Tyrone (Sandra) Coleman, Sr., Nicole Coleman and Christopher Bass; her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, Chaslyn Jones, Jeriah Roberts, Emery Jones, Jabin Roberts, Torrian Harshaw, Tyrone Coleman, Jr., Sha-Tera Coleman, Tyrece Coleman, Shanae Coleman and Sydnee Coleman; her best friend of 25 years, Wednesday Harper; and a host of family members, friends, the Citronelle High School Class of 1991 and the Alabama A&M University Class of 1996.
