Remembering Debbie Lewis

Hi! I'm Kristi, one of Debbie's nieces. I'm coordinating this gofundme and asking the community to rally around the family in this very difficult time. John has always been one to help out others in a time of need and now he needs help. Because this was VERY unexpected they will need help with living expenses from taking time off work, medical bills, funeral arrangements, cremation and other unexpected expenses for Uncle John, Josh and Bailey.

Debbie Lewis passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Alvarado hospital in San Diego.

Debbie has always been a healthy person who cared about what she ate, drank, and was very thorough on all medical issues, tests and scheduled appointments. After John received both medical records from Urgent Care and the Hospital, with the help of a few close friends in the medical industry, respiratory failure with hypoxia is listed numerous times on the report. With way too many questions unanswered and the fact that she was responsive, talking and replying to the staff at the Emergency Center just a couple or few hours prior to passing away, as well as her urgent care visit a day prior, we have moved forward with an autopsy and legal action.

John & the boys thank each and every one of you for your prayers, love, meals, and gifts. Knowing we have so many caring friends gives John, Josh & Bailey some much needed comfort. Even though tears are uncontrollable they can always smile when they hear from or see someone who cares❤️. We would have never imagined something like this could ever happen so quick, and turn a families life up side down. John and the boys are strong and will do their best to be strong moving forward. Just know that they love you all and please continue to pray for them during the next steps of this nightmare.
