It saddens our heart that on August 7th, Heaven gained a beautiful angel, but the world lost a mother, daughter, sister, wife, aunt, friend, caretaker, and last but not least, the greatest Mimi there ever was. Debbie never ceased to light up any room she was in with her contagious laugh. Whether you needed a laugh, a cry, a hug, some advice, someone to talk to, or just a hand to hold, she was always there. Whether she just met you or she brought you into this world, she always treated you like one of her own. She touched the hearts of so many that I'm sure any room you go into, someone has a story about Miss Deb. Whether she cared for your grandmother towards the end of her life or she bought you a meal when you were hungry, everyone knew and loved her.
Every family has that one person who is the glue that holds it all together. For us, that was Deb, and it's because she was the glue that this hurts that much more. It's going to take a village to even attempt to do the impossible, which is fill those shoes. Debbie spent her life helping and serving her community and those around her, but now her family needs help from their community. No amount of planning could prepare you for this kind of loss, but this truly was unexpected, and because of that, no arrangements were made beforehand. All the money in the world wouldn't be enough to repay her for her service to this world, but any sort of monetary donation is greatly appreciated to ensure she gets to be remembered how she wanted to and to ensure her family doesn't fall apart now that they don't have that glue to hold everything together in their time of grief.
Any donations made will go to the family for funeral/memorial expenses as well as anything they may need during this troubling time.
