My fiancé's brother, Davalius A. Tutt, most people knew him by "Dee," passed away due to a long-term illness. The timing of his loss took his family and loved ones by surprise, as we had not expected to lose him this early in life. Dee was personally one of my daughter's absolute favorite people in this world. You'd often hear her pitter-patter behind him saying, "Uncle Dee, hold me," and he would never turn down the opportunity for her hugs. Dee had a way to make everyone in his vicinity laugh till their stomachs hurt.

We are at this point unsure of what funeral costs will be. But several family members have come from out of town and placed their lives on pause to be together in this time of tragedy. We will be using donations to pay for funeral costs, any emergency traveling family had to do, and to support his family in this time. All donations, thoughts, and prayers will be appreciated by his family and loved ones. He was a remarkable young man. You will be missed, Dee.
