Our family is heartbroken as we share the unexpected passing of Daniel “Danny” Abercrombie. Danny had been sick for quite some time, but he never stopped fighting. In fact, he had recently been getting stronger and working hard to regain his strength. One of his biggest motivations was being able to walk his daughter down the aisle at her upcoming wedding. He was determined to get back on his feet so he could be there for that moment.
Danny was the kind of person who seemed to know everybody. No matter where he went, there was always someone who knew him or had a story about him. He loved spending his summers at the racetrack with his son Daniel, working on cars and sharing a passion that meant so much to both of them. When he wasn’t at the track, you could find him fishing, enjoying cookouts, and most importantly spending time with his family.
He was also one of the biggest supporters of his daughter, Tori. From the very beginning, he wanted her to have the wedding dress she dreamed of and supported her every step of the way. Walking her down the aisle was something he looked forward to and worked hard toward while recovering.
Danny leaves behind his loving wife, Valerie, who is now experiencing the unimaginable loss of her husband. In just a moment, life changed from having her partner by her side every day to facing the days ahead without him. His son Daniel is also grieving the loss of a father who was one of the closest people in his life — someone he could always turn to for help, advice, and support.
As our family navigates this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for help with funeral expenses. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to our family and help ease the financial burden during this heartbreaking time.
Danny meant so much to so many people, and we are grateful for any kindness and support shown to our family as we honor his life and memory.
