March 2024 Update:  After some time we had been hoping that Ashley and Charlette could begin to slowly rebuild their lives but unfortunately that has not been the case. The financial burdens that come with the loss of a spouse can be overwhelming and unaffordable and at this time the VA is withholding financial support for Ashley and baby Charlette; claiming that his passing does not meet their requirements. We have started a GoFundMe in the hopes to ease the burden for Ashley and her young daughter and were hoping that you could take the time to share their story. All donations and money donated will go straight to the Taylor family to help ease any worries about upcoming expenses, medical bills, insurance costs as well as securing his baby girl's future education with a college fund.

Ashley and baby Charlette have had to move back home to Rhode Island from Florida and back in with Nana and Papa. When dan passed away unexpectedly, Ashley was stay at home mom putting off her schooling until she could do it later when Charlie was a little older. This was possible because Dan was receiving a pension and disability from his service. This money covered bills in the house and with his new job at VirTra things were perfect for this young beautiful family. Unfortunately as we come past their 1 year wedding anniversary (March 3rd). Ashley is working full time at her bartending job trying to just make ends meet. Dan’s pension and disability which contributed to the bills, continue to be withheld by the VA from them including health insurance and life insurance payment. They have been working with the VA since Dan’s passing but they have been told they are not eligible for any of it at this time.

All Daniel would have wanted was to ensure that his wife and daughter were cared for and taken care of, something we need your help to fulfill. If you could please take the time to share their story we would be eternally grateful. ❤️
