With a heavy heart, I am sharing the news that we lost my beloved brother, Damien, this morning. Our family is devastated by this sudden loss, and we are struggling to understand.

​If you knew Damien, you knew he had a rare and beautiful gift: the ability to make anyone smile. No matter what was happening, he could light up a room and find a way to bring joy to those around him. He had a spirit that wanted others to feel happy, even when things weren't easy for him personally.

​The deepest part of his heart, however, belonged to his daughter. He loved her beyond measure. Even though Damien had been "lost" for a while—battling internal shadows that many of us couldn't fully see—his love for her remained a constant truth. She was his world, and we want to ensure that she grows up knowing just how much her father adored her.

​We are starting this fund to help our family cover the unexpected funeral and memorial expenses. We want to give Damien a farewell that honors the man he truly was—a kind brother, a loving father, and a friend who just wanted to see people smile.
