Hi, My name is Róisín McCarthy, i am 8 years old.

Clódagh is my little sister and she passed away on the 25th of July 2025 from a brain tumour (DIPG).

Clódaghs battle was very scary and she was very courageous.

I want to raise funds for the Charity Oscars Kids. Oscars kids was set up by Oscars Mammy (Yav) and Daddy(Lar) and Oscars brother Teddy after Oscar passed in July 2019 from the same brain tumour as Clódagh.

They are amazing. They made Clódaghs dreams come true by sending us all to Disneyland twice and one week before Clódagh passed away they sent us to London to see our favourite musical Wicked. It was our favourite memory together.

They helped Clódagh, me and my parents so much while Clódagh was sick.

They help with bills, food, medical expenses, present, treats, everything and anything. They are the best.

I want to raise the money so they can continue their amazing work by helping children with life limiting illnesses and their families. So they can continue to make dreams and wishes come true.

I want to thank them for everything they did for my beautiful sister Clódagh, me and my parents. Please help them to continue their amazing work for very sick kids in Ireland.

September is international childhood cancer awareness month.

I have planned a fundraiser at my school (Ballygiblin National School), for Oscars kids on 30th September 2025 and to shine a light on the life of my Golden sister Clódagh ✨️
