Remembering Cleo Grace De Leon.

Hello everyone.

My family suffered an unfortunate tragedy this last week. Cleo Grace De Leon was found unresponsive in her bed on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023. My Sister and Valentino administered CPR and called for emergency services. They were able to revive Cleo Grace, however, it is unknown how long it is that her little brain was deprived of oxygen. She was airlifted to Banner University Medical Center in Tuscon Arizona and was put under the immediate care of PICU nurses and doctors.

Throughout the week, the family held on to hope in the form of prayer and spirituality. We held on to any ounce of hope that we possibly could, but MRI scans and other testing showed declining improvement.

On Thursday, June 15th at approximately 4:00 PM the doctors officially declared Cleo Grace De Leon clinically brain dead due to irreversible brain damage. However, her heart is still beating. Her parents are exploring the possibility of giving the ultimate gift of organ donation. Cleo Grace's legacy will continue to live on, and her gift will bring smiles, happiness, and hope to other families. Right now the donations are scheduled for Sunday, June 18th, 2023. She was 10 months old.

I have created this go fundme on behalf of Ivonne De La Cerda, and Valentino De Leon to help ease the burden of laying their little girl to rest. The funds will be used to spread Cleo's ashes in her various favorite places, such as Sea Cliff Beach in California where our grandfather had his ashes spread.

Cleo Grace is survived by her mother Ivonne, Father Valentino, and Sisters Isabella, Ophelia, Destiny, and Raylene.

I would like to personally thank everyone on behalf of the family for all the support, prayers, and love spread throughout this difficult time. I would also like to thank all the doctors, and nurses at Banner University Medical Center for your tireless days and nights tending to our little warrior, and most of all I would like to say thank you to the Ronald McDonald Foundation who played a huge role in keeping the family together in the form of stays, food, and support so that way we were all able to be together under one roof while we fought this war as a family.
