One of our dear friends, Alex Robinson, unexpectedly lost his mother in a string of sudden and devastating events. This Gofundme's goal is to raise money for hospital bills, funeral costs, and any other expenses that come with this tragic moment.

Christine was an endearing, sweet, and beautiful soul if you were fortunate enough to have met her.

Here's a few words from Alex reflecting on his mother's life and the light it brought him and everyone else she had the benefit of meeting:

"My mother, like most amazing mothers, was a multitude of things—loving, compassionate, hilarious, whip smart, tough, selfless...the list would meander through positive adjectives indefinitely. After my father passed, she worked two jobs to help give us a nice life, and help put me through college. At 50, she decided to get her master's degree to become a teacher for special needs students, a job she would say was her calling. And during all of this, she was taking care of my ill grandmother who was diagnosed with COPD. Never once did I hear her complain.

I know everyone with a good mother thinks they have the best one. And I get it. But there was something beautifully special about mine. Everyone in her life loved her so much because she loved unconditionally and wore her love like badge. It was vulnerable and honest and brave. She was my role model, my rock, my wisdom. She taught me so much about life, and finding joy in the small things because the small things were everywhere if you just looked closely enough.

Aside from being a great mother, she was an exemplary daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a second mom to a few of my friends growing up, and would never hesitate to keep us in check or make us laugh (depending on the circumstance, of course).

My mom was a beacon of light for me in dark times, a ray of sunshine on the stormiest days. She was simply the greatest person I've ever known and loved, and I'm going to miss her a whole bunch."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
