We are heartbroken to share that our brother, Christian Smaw, passed away in a tragic car accident the morning of June 26.

Christian wasn’t just a brother — he was the heartbeat of our chapter. He had the kind of energy that could light up any room the second he walked in. His smile was contagious, and his laugh was unmistaken. Whether you were having the best day of your life or going through your hardest moments, Christian was always the first to check on you, to crack a joke, or just sit and listen.

In Pike, we talk about being scholars, leaders, athletes, and gentlemen. Christian embodied all of that and more. He showed us what it meant to truly care about the people around you, to show up for your brothers and friends no matter what. His kindness was genuine, and his love for life was unmatched.

We’re coming together as brothers to support Christian’s family during this unimaginable time. The funds we raise will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, and anything extra will help his family as they heal and honor his legacy.
