On June 27, 2012, 1LT Stephen “Chase” Prasnicki was killed in action just three days into his first deployment to Afghanistan. A West Point graduate, Army Ranger, and devoted platoon leader, Chase was known for living a life of great energy and purpose, always putting others first.
Shortly after his passing, his wife Emily organized a care package drive for his unit. With so many people asking how they could help, she found a simple and powerful answer: take care of his guys. The effort brought people together in shared purpose and service - just as Chase had done throughout his life.
This Memorial Day, we’re honoring that legacy by doing it again.
All funds raised will go directly toward sending care packages to deployed service members with all remaining funds going to the Dover Fisher House.
Thank you for remembering him with us.
