Remembering Charles Lugtu

The world became a little darker on Friday, March 8th, when a shining star shone it's last flicker of light.

Charles was many things to many people.

An adoring husband. A proud father. A loving son. A big brother. A supportive friend. An out of this world photographer who took incredible portraits of many people from all walks of life.  

Sometimes, it's the most intelligent, caring and creative among us who tend to shine a little too bright, a little too soon and their fire burns out much, much too early. 

Charles, you were so very loved here on Earth and will be forever remembered and treasured. You will live on in your wife, in your beautiful babies, in all your family, friends and loved ones you've left behind and in the phenomenal art you created. You're free from pain now. 

Charles left behind a family and young children who have to grow up without their father. 

If he's touched your lives in anyway, whether as a family, a friend, a student, a teacher, or like many of us, a photographer who made us feel like beautiful shining stars ourselves, please find it in your hearts to help ease the financial burden his young family is left behind with.

We will love you and miss you forever, Charles. And though you're no longer living among us, your legacy will live on forever.
