This is Cassidy Renae. She was 31 years old when she passed away in her sleep on July 29, 2025.

She was such a sweet, smart, kind, and beautiful girl/woman. If she saw someone sitting alone at lunch, she would join them so they wouldn’t be alone. She would be your friend and stand by you no matter what. She was loved so much by those of us who knew her, and she loved us back just as fiercely.

She loved going hiking, swimming, and cuddling with her dog, Tink. Cassidy was always trying new things like kickboxing, yoga, anything she thought she might enjoy. As a child, she played the flute and guitar. As a teen, she tried playing drums. She wasn’t afraid to try whatever caught her eye, and if she didn’t like it, she moved on. If she wasn’t working, she was always looking for something fun to do. She was rarely home because she wanted to be in the world! If she was home, she always had a crowd of friends with her.

She didn’t work the last month of her life as she began to have seizures and was trying to get a diagnosis and get her health figured out.

As her mom, Cassidy meant the world to me, and I will never see her get married or have a baby. She will never get to be an awesome aunt should her brother have kids, and she will never grow into a cute and sweet old lady. This breaks my heart, but I know this is not goodbye. I will see her again, and until then, our family and friends who have gone before us have welcomed her and are taking care of her. Cassidy will be missed by all of us.

Her cremation has been paid for, but we also want to have a memorial/celebration of life for her, and that is what this GoFundMe is for. We would like to have a reception somewhere with food where all her friends and family can get together and remember her.

Thank you in advance for reading, sharing, and donating. Much love, Cassidy’s mom, -Strea
