Caroline touched everyone she met with her beauty, grace and sweet soul making it easy to love her during her too short life of 39 years.  In August 2018 God called her home leaving an emptiness in Michael and Patty never to be filled, but maybe eased a little through our donations to the Dallas Missionaries of Charity in Caroline's memory. 

Earlier this summer an angel was erected on the front lawn of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Maternity Shelter for homeless pregnant women.  The Sisters provide a safe place to rest while protecting the lives of their unborn babies; after giving birth, the mothers are helped to start anew in the outside world.  Now everyone who comes to the shelter is greeted by "Caroline's Angel" - a vision of something she would do.
