Remembering Camryn Morris: Support Heartland

*** Update 7/13/2025: Thank you for helping raise over $4700 for Heartland on behalf of Camryn. We visited the shelter in May and saw firsthand the good work they do for animals. We hope that OSU students will continue to visit the animals at the shelter often and help support their activities on campus. ***

Our beloved daughter, Camryn, passed away tragically on April 5, 2025, shortly after completing the Corvallis half-marathon. As an OSU student, she enjoyed spending many hours at Heartland Humane helping with the animals. It gave her a break from her studies and helped her reconnect with animals and nature. We believe Camryn would want to help Heartland continue their mission so that future animals and OSU students can continue to make this connection. Please support Heartland with a donation in Camryn's memory. This fundraiser is directly linked to the Heartland Humane Shelter & Care 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.

Camryn had passion for the forests and the wildlands of Oregon as well. A separate GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up to place a bench in an OSU Research Forest in Camryn's memory.
