As many of our friends and family already know, my father in law, Calvin Ashworth, went home to be with the Lord this past Sunday. Calvin was not only one of Shay’s greatest supporters, but also her best friend.

Her father was a kind, humble man of deep faith who lived a life of service, love, and integrity. He touched the hearts of everyone around him including family, friends, and countless people in our community who knew him. His absence leaves a void that words cannot express and he will be deeply missed.

We are so grateful to have had such a huge outpouring of support and love from our family and friends. Every message sent has been so meaningful to Shay.

For those of you who have asked I have set up a fund to help Shay cover some of the expenses that have come with losing a loved one.

As of now, services are tentatively planned for Saturday, August 16th. The date is not yet set in stone, but we will keep everyone informed as the details are finalized.
