Braydon Finkas was a gregarious, generous soul who brought laughter and warmth to everyone he met. As an electrician at the Nippon Mill in Longview, WA, Braydon was known for always pitching in to help, never turning down a request from a friend or neighbor. He and his partner, Kaitlyn Kincaid, built a loving home together in Cathlamet, WA, where they welcomed exchange students and others in need, creating a safe and nurturing environment for all. Braydon’s love for life was evident in everything he did—whether he was making his famous brisket, playing a round of golf, enjoying a game of cribbage, traveling with his wife Kaitlyn, or spending time with and supporting their beloved dogs. Braydon was a fixture at the local golf course or at the brewery, where he was always surrounded by friends, joking and laughing. His sense of humor and kindness touched everyone who knew him.
On May 26, Braydon’s life was tragically cut short in a chemical implosion at the Nippon Mill. His sudden passing has left Kaitlyn facing not only immense grief but also unexpected financial challenges. As a friend of both Braydon and Kaitlyn, I have set up this campaign to send all funds to Kaitlyn for help with housing, missed wages, bills, and caring for their dogs as she navigates this difficult time.
We invite you to share your memories of Braydon, offer words of encouragement to Kaitlyn, and support this fundraiser with a donation if you’re able. Every bit of kindness and generosity will make a difference as Kaitlyn finds her way forward after this heartbreaking loss.
