With a heavy heart, the Minauri Razo family shares the loss of beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Boris Alberto Minauri (7/28/91 - 11/24/25). 

My brother was kind, humble, generous with his time, and deeply loved by his family and community. We will forever miss his contagious laugh, warm embrace, and unifying spirit.

We will miss hearing stories about his little ones at work. A couple of years ago, my big brother started working as a safety officer at a preschool. When he caught on that the little ones liked stickers, he ordered several packs of stickers in various colors and themes. His niece even gifted him stickers that Christmas! Eventually, it was brought to his attention that stickers were decorating desks and classrooms and walls throughout the school. Not a problem. My brother was told stamps might be a good alternative and he went on to buy several packs of stamps — also in various colors and themes. We’ve found many packs of brand new stamps ready to put a smile on his babies’ faces. They will be donated to the preschool where he looked forward to working every day.

Those preschool babies weren’t the only ones who enjoyed my brother’s warmth. My brother’s first true love was my daughter — his niece. He was a father figure to my daughter, remembering important dates, celebrating milestones, and loving her unconditionally. Since I can remember, I have received my daughter’s school picture portraits. I cannot remember the last time I ordered or paid for a photo package. I recently told my brother that they just send you the packages for free now because I never order them and get a photo delivery every year! He laughed. For years, he’s ordered my daughter’s picture day packages without even mentioning it. This week, I found a wallet sized print of my daughter’s most recent pictures in his wallet.

We share these memories because they are who Boris was — gentle, thoughtful, playful, and full of heart. His transition leaves a silence we are still learning to sit with, but his love continues to live inside every laugh he sparked, every child he protected, and every memory he gifted us.

Many loved ones have asked how they can support our family during this difficult time. In response to that kindness, we have created this space for anyone who wishes to contribute towards my brother’s memorial and final arrangements. We welcome all forms of support — donations, prayers, shared memories or pictures. Every gesture helps us honor him with warmth, dignity, and community.

Thank you for holding our family close, for remembering Boris with us, and for keeping his spirit alive in your hearts and stories.
