Remembering Mike Blair: Honoring a Larger-Than-Life Legacy
Donation protected
On behalf of my husband, Eliot Blair, and his siblings, it’s with a heavy heart that I’m writing this today.
In loving memory of Michael Thomas Blair, known affectionately as Blair, who left us suddenly on Monday, May 13th. Blair fought a courageous battle against colon cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and various health challenges for years. But now, he's at peace, no longer burdened by pain.
Anyone who crossed paths with Blair knew him as a force of nature – kind-hearted, boisterous, and always up for a good time. For nearly four decades, he poured his heart and soul into his wood flooring business in Louisville, KY. Blair wasn't just in it for the business; he genuinely wanted to help people. Many times, he went above and beyond, offering his services for free, even if it meant dipping into his own pocket.
Despite his generosity, Blair faced his own share of financial struggles, especially with mounting medical bills. Unfortunately, he didn't have the means to set aside funds for his final expenses.
Now, we're rallying together to give Blair the send-off he deserves. The proceeds from this GoFundMe will cover the costs of his funeral services and repass. On behalf of Eliot, Shawn, Megan, Stephen, and the rest of the family, we extend our deepest gratitude for your support during this difficult time.
Let's honor Blair's memory by coming together as a community, just as he would have wanted. Together, we can ensure that his legacy of kindness and generosity lives on. Service details will be updated soon. Thank you for being part of Blair's journey.
