Hi, my group of swimming friends are taking on the 1 mile Great North Swim in Lake Windermere on Friday 13th June. We aim to raise funds for Capture Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Cancer Charity in memory of Beth.

Beth was only 17 when she died last year. A talented, clever and beautiful person, she is our inspiration and the money we raise will be used to fund much needed research into this rare and aggressive disease.

My friends and I have been open water swimming together for a few years but it was only a couple of months ago that we began training properly for the GNS and we’re now ready to take on the challenge.

We’re not very quick but I know we have what it takes to get to the finishing line. We’ll do it for Beth, her brother Mateo and all her family and friends. Please support us if you can.
