Remembering Benjamin (Chamin) Kreher (01/26/1987 - 02/23/2023)

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved Benjamin (Chamin) Kreher, a brother, father, friend, son, uncle, and combat veteran.

Sadly, Ben passed away last Thursday, February 23, 2023, and is survived by his daughter Sophia Kreher, father Randy Kreher, mother Nazaria Kreher, nephew Amaru Kreher-Hernandez, and sister Daniella Kreher. His family humbly asks that their grief and privacy be respected during this difficult time.

Private Benjamin Kreher bravely served our country during the Iraq War in 2006 and was awarded for his service. After returning home, Ben continued to serve his country in the Federal government (Department of Homeland Security) during which he received numerous awards and commendations.

In addition to Private Kreher’s dedicated service, our dear Ben built himself and his family a beautiful life.

He was an avid fisherman who found solace and enjoyment in the great outdoors, and he shared his love of fishing and aquatics with those around him. Ben was a true friend, known for his sense of humor, intellect, and loyalty.

Above all, Ben was a devoted father who cherished his beautiful daughter more than anything in the world. Everyone around him knew how he strived to be a loving and nurturing presence in her life. Sophia was the light and love of Ben’s life.

As we mourn this devastating loss, we honor and celebrate Ben's life, friendship, service, and sacrifice. His legacy and cherished memories will live on in our hearts and minds.
