Remembering Barbara: Support Her Loved Ones

I am creating this in honor of Barbara Cottrill. I have known Barb basically my entire life as I grew up spending a lot of time at Scotch Valley Country Club. I have never met someone who cares more about people and their well-being than Barb.

From the time I was a little kid running around the pro shop bugging her for candy, to the current day where we would talk almost every day about ways to improve things for the golf course's members; she constantly put forth her efforts to make everything she worked on be a success. She was happiest when she made others happy, and that’s a beautiful thing.

She is the heart and soul of Scotch Valley and the hundreds of members would all agree with that. I know she was a wonderful grandma as well, as she would send me pictures of her watching her granddaughters with big smiles on their faces.

She dedicated such a large portion of her life to her job and was excellent at it. I am heartbroken and I know the golf course will never be the same without her.

Funds will be used for her funeral service and anything left over goes to her only daughter and granddaughters.

She was taken much too soon. We love you, Barb.
