Hi, my name is Alyssa Rowell, and I’m raising funds to help cover the cremation and final expenses for my incredible mom, Barbara Carrier, who passed away unexpectedly on August 1st, 2025.

My mom was the kind of person who made friends everywhere she went. Her laugh was infectious, her heart was open, and she was always the first to lend a hand when someone needed help. She was a wonderful mother, a loyal friend, and a light in so many lives.

She was also incredibly creative—an avid crafter who loved sewing, working on puzzles, and making things by hand. She grew up as a military brat, moved often, and built resilience and curiosity wherever she landed. She was an avid skier in her younger years and remained active and energetic well into her later life.

Losing her has been incredibly hard, and while I want to honor her wishes with a simple cremation and heartfelt goodbye, the costs have quickly added up. I’m humbly asking for help during this time of grief and transition.
