Ashley Lathery was the kind of person who instantly brightened every room she entered. A native of Lexington, she had an uncanny ability to turn strangers into friends, and her compassionate spirit touched everyone she met. Most precious to her was her 15-year-old son, JaCorey Ray the love of her life, her pride, her greatest joy. Though her journey had ups and downs, her love for her son and her warm heart never faded. She believed in second chances and practiced forgiveness, teaching us all the value of compassion.
The Lathery family is in urgent need of support to…
• Cover finish funeral and memorial expenses
• Every contribution eases the immediate burden of these costs.
• Support JaCorey’s summer needs
Ashley planned summer activities for her son. With short notice, the family is asking for help funding essentials from meals and living expenses to enrichment activities and counseling to ensure JaCorey has a stable and fulfilling summer.
• Host a safe, joyful remembrance event
The family wants to gather friends and loved ones for a fun and healing afternoon at Champs Entertainment Complex in Lexington a place Ashley loved and grew visiting. This event will be a tribute to her warmth and spirit, with roller skating & games
