Angel Villafañe passed away at the age of 59 on December 2, 2019, leaving a large void in the hearts of everyone that loved and cared for him. Angel was an ideal friend, partner, and father. He won the heart of every person he interacted with, through his infectious humor and energy. His giving spirit was an inspiration to everyone in his life; he was always helping those he knew were in need--even if all he could give was his last dollar. 

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Angel sacrificed all he had—using his life savings and leaving his job of 25 years—to bring his children to the United States in order to give them a chance at a better future. He lived in Orlando, FL for almost 20 years, but he always had hope of returning to his beloved Puerto Rico. In the last few months of his life, he was planning to retire there, surrounded by his parents, siblings, cousins, and the rest of his large and loving family. Even though he never returned while living, we would like to still grant him his dream.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will help with all expenses related to his passing. It will also fund a memorial service that will be held in Orlando to celebrate his life with all those whose hearts he touched during his years there.

Thank you for helping us remember Angel Villafañe and returning him home to finally rest in peace.

Angel Villafañe falleció a los 59 años el 2 de diciembre de 2019, dejando un gran vacío en los corazones de todos los que lo amaban. Angel era un amigo, compañero y padre ideal. Se ganó el corazón de muchas personas a través de su contagioso humor y energía. Su manera de ser dadivoso fue de gran inspiración para todos los que lo conocían; él siempre ayudaba a aquellos que estaban en necesidad, incluso si todo lo que podía dar era su último dólar.
 
Nacido y criado en Puerto Rico, Angel sacrificó todo lo que tenia--usando sus ahorros y renunciando a su trabajo de 25 años--para traer a sus hijos a los Estados Unidos y darles la oportunidad de un futuro mejor. Vivió en Orlando, FL durante casi 20 años, pero siempre tuvo la esperanza de regresar a su amado Puerto Rico. En los últimos meses de su vida, planeaba retirarse allí, rodeado de sus padres, hermanos, primos y el resto de su amorosa gran familia. Aunque nunca pudo regresar en vida, quisiéramos todavía realizarle su sueño.

Cualquier donación, no importa cuán grande o pequeña sea, ayudará con todos los gastos relacionados a su fallecimiento. También financiará un servicio memorial que se llevará a cabo en Orlando para celebrar su vida con todos aquellos cuyos corazones tocó durante sus años allí.
