Remembering Angel Simons

Angel was a beloved family member and friend who touched many lives. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Aunt, and friend who always put others before herself. Recently, Angel experienced an unexpected and tragic health journey that ended in her passing.

Angel broke her heel and had surgery, but unfortunately, the screws popped out which led to a second surgery. To keep her from putting weight on her leg, she had a cage placed around her leg. One of the screw sites got infected and the infection traveled to her heart. While on life support, her kidneys stopped working, and she was transferred to a rehabilitation facility, where she went into DKA and had to be transferred back to the hospital. She suffered another heart attack and tragically did not recover.

While Angel was loved by many, her family needs our help during this difficult time. They are dealing with the loss of a loved one and the financial strain that comes with it. We are reaching out to our community for support in helping them cover medical bills and funeral expenses.
