Hi everyone,

My name is Holly, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. Just recently, I lost my dad — Andrew Hackett.

I am my father’s only direct family member, and right now I’m navigating not only the deep pain of losing him, but also the overwhelming responsibility of arranging his cremation and final services on my own. It’s a lot to carry while my heart is still trying to process that he’s really gone.

If you know me, you know how special my dad was to me and still is. He had the most loving heart, always putting others before himself. He had a way of lighting up any room he walked into — his laugh was contagious, his words were uplifting, and his soul was gentle and kind. His absence will be felt and missed by many.

Right now, I want nothing more than to give him the peaceful and respectful farewell he deserves, but the financial burden of doing this alone is heavy. Any contribution — no matter the size — would help lift some of this weight off my shoulders and allow me to focus on honoring his memory and healing through this heartbreaking loss.
