Memorial Fund for final expenses for our beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, Robert Birden.

Robert Lee Birden passed away on February 28th, 2025. He accepted Christ at an early age. His love and faith were the foundation of everything that he did, lived for, and hoped for.

Originally from Arkansas and working as a sharecropper, he later played as one of the best guards for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. "Birdman" was a true Razorback, throughout his life wearing the cardinal and white, and had stories for days of his court days.

Rob’s spirit was golden. He had a unique personality that brought encouragement, humor, and delight in his love for the Lord.

God, family, good health, generosity, and coaching were his obsessions. Rob was humble, growing up as the 10th of 15 children, before moving to San Francisco in the 1970s. He always put others before himself.

He leaves behind his grandchildren, whom he loved more than anything. Even in his last days, although he could no longer walk, he tried with all his strength to be there for them.

He will always be loved and remembered.
