We lost our CEO Amit at the beginning of the year. He kept us smiling through really difficult times such as Covid when everything was crashing around us and had the ability to make everyone he interacted with feel listened to and respected. Inspired by his pandemic yeti phase I wanted to sacrifice my own vanity in his memory and let everything grow for a full year, no razors, clippers or scissors. Starting February 1st 2025 until January 31st 2026.

I have shaved my head once a week for the last 25 years, no-one has seen me with more than a couple of millimetres and I am far from having full coverage so I will NOT look good. I want to do this as a bit of fun, I look forward to explaining to people why I am doing this so I can talk about Amit on a regular basis.

A couple of years ago as I struggled through a difficult time at home with my wife bieng diagnozed with Cancer, having a serious operation followed by months of treatment, Amit was very kind to me and in fact supported me in some fundraising I did then, making a large donation which took me over my goal for the campaign.

I will take a picture every day, I will share frequent updates, try some weird hairstyles (defo a combover). Happy for people to join in but the purpose of it all is to raise some money for one of the charities that Amit's famlily have chosen.
