Alfredo Carvallo passed on the morning of May 12, 2021 after a long battle with the COVID-19 virus while hospitalized at Baptist Hospital of Miami.  Alfredo is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Maria Carvallo and their three children.  The twins, Lisa and Alfre are 25 years of age, and their son Joseph is 14 years old.
 
 
Alfredo joined Auberge Beach Residences in November 2019 as Chief Engineer and was promoted to Director of Engineering in early 2020.  Alfredo enjoyed a long career which started at the Miami Dade Unified School District then progressed into hospitality with companies like Sonesta and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company before joining Auberge Beach Residences and Spa in late 2019.  Alfredo has built a solid team of maintenance professionals and operating procedures to the property in the past year and a half.  He has been the consummate professional and has provided the needed leadership for the property since turnover from the developer to the Board of Directors in 2020.  Alfredo has been foundational in stabilizing the building, creating great relationships with all of the residents and partners, and providing solutions that face the building each and every day.
 
 
From his Auberge family, Alfredo was a true family man always speaking of his wife and children. He has been like a father to his team, a brother to his Colleagues, and always bringing a smile to the situation.  He strived to make people happy and was truly comfortable in the space of hospitality and serving customers. We will remember him for so many things, but a couple of things that will stick out in all of our minds are the jingling keys as he walked, the chocolates he would bring us on difficult days, and the ringer on his cell phone which we always smiled when it went off in the office next door.  You will be missed and we love you Alfredo.
