Remember my friend, Alexa? She needs our help!

You may remember my friend and former student, Alexa. A few years back, the Deer Park community, along with so many caring individuals, came together and raised $20,000 to help her family purchase a wheelchair accessible van. It truly changed their lives.

Again, Alexa and her family are in dire need of our help. For the past several months, Alexa has been hospitalized and now confined at home. Her condition severely limits her ability to communicate her needs, so one parent must be awake with her at all times.

Because of this, they cannot work and have no income.

Alexa is a smart, creative, hilarious young woman. She is scared and sad, as are her parents.
