Remembering Iris Fonseca Pantoja Lopez
Donation protected
Hello, this is Christina. I am fundraising today to celebrate and remember our Mother who passed away on January 16th. To me, Iris was a mother, my friend, and my confidant.
She was a Mom that made sure I got what she said done, or I would get the biggest Sopla- moco de mi Vida! Right? She was known for her fiery nature by those who knew her. She was Puerto Rican, in every sense of the word, and she taught my sisters and me to be proud to carry that blood as well.
My mom had a big heart and was always there to help. If she knew a child in the neighborhood she became their grandma. At one point she even opened her home to foster an infant Maryann. Her kindness grew over the years as she settled into motherhood and then a grandma.
I believe her kindness came from her not having but craving to have a relationship with her Maternal Mother. She vowed that she would never abandon her daughters or allow them to feel that longing of needing their mother.
She wanted to be there for everyone even for her pets. Chloe in particular. Chloe was my mom's little buddy, protector and companion. Who I am hoping is also in the great beyond waiting for her with a wagging tail and open arms.
Please join us in Scottsdale Arizona if you can to say goodbye and help us share in the beautiful memories.
She leaves behind both her mother and her father, her sisters, her husband and 4 of her daughters. Before I was born my mother had a son. Her firstborn passed after only a few weeks of life. October 2022 just several months ago; my sister, Victoria, Iris youngest daughter, passed away. My Mom was a fighter, I truly believe she died of a broken heart, she just could not get over the death of Victoria her youngest daughter.
Thank you for reading this today for donating sharing and bless you.
