At the request of our loving dad, father-in-law, and grandfather, Dan Wurz, we are raising money to plant trees in the City of Ventura.

Dan passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Almost exactly a year ago, Dan received a cancer diagnosis, and was told he had just a few months to live. He did not accept this fate and showed a courageous fight until the end.

Dan made a special request that after he passed, his family partner with his son-in-law’s business, Ventura Forward, to plant trees in his honor. Dan shared a passion for community and nature, and thought this would be a lasting remembrance.
