Fighting hard to beat this tumor

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Arielle.
My world was turned upside down on February 1st, 2014. I was told I had a pituitary tumor located at the base of the brain. The reason why I went into urgent care to begin with was my sight was becoming extremely blurry. Urgent care told me I had a macroadenoma that was putting pressure on my optic nerve and I would need immediate surgery before I went permenently blind. I was admitted into the hospital right then and there and after countless tests and changes in surgeons, I had my first surgery on February 3rd, 2014. The surgery was honestly the easiest thing in this whole process. My cortisol levels dropped shockingly low right after surgery and I crashed. Thankfully my nurse knew what to do and sprang into action. My doctors believed I would wake up blind, but thank god I woke up with full vision. Jump to 2 weeks later, I was at home and feeling absolutely horrible. My hormones were/are out of whack due to the large tumor. I now have addisons disease, diabetes insipidus and hypothyroidism. Then, I started losing vision in my right eye. My doctor said it is permanent and my left eye may or may not be at risk of losing vision as well. November 12, 2014 I had another surgery because my tumor wasn't completely removed and it started growing again. November 14, 2014, I had another surgery while still at UCLA hospital. At my most recent check-up, my doctor said not all was removed and to expect more surgeries and the possibility of radiaiton. Through all of this, I still have faith and believe god and my guardian angel are always by my side. I am young and I know I will beat this tumor! I am partially blind, but I praise God that I have any sight at all. I have my good days and I have really bad days. I have to be on medication the rest of my life. I never imagined anything like this would happen to me. I took my health for granted prior to February 1st, 2014. I try to stay positive and take it day by day. I know god only gives us what he knows we can handle.
