On Thursday morning, the 29th of September at around 3am, two buildings of the Summerville Station Apartments had been engulfed in flames. My sister woke up to the smell of the apartment burning and woke up my mother and my nephew. Eventually, everyone in the apartment was able to get out. Although my mom had a small renters insurance policy it is not enough to cover moving expenses. The apartment is inhabitable and everything within the apartment has been lost to the fire. We are hoping to raise money to help with relocation expenses and would be very appreciative of donations.
