Help me with stem cell transplant costs

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lindsey and I'm a law student at the University of Oregon. In March of this year, I was diagnosed with relapsed Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. My original diagnosis was in August 2016. I was in remission for over six years before my cancer came back - I was essentially considered "cured." Receiving this news was shocking and devastating. The standard treatment for relapsed Hodgkin's Lymphoma is chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant. I am currently in the process of getting tests to ensure my body is healthy enough for the transplant.

The transplant will be performed this summer at OHSU Hospital in Portland. Following my inpatient admission, I will need to remain in the Portland area for several weeks so that my transplant team can closely monitor me, whether this be in a hotel or in a home rental. All of this means my boyfriend, Richard, and I are essentially needing to relocate to Portland for the summer - which is not cheap at all. Additionally, because my family is in Orange County, CA they will also be temporarily relocating so that they can help take care of me, as I need 24/7 care once I am outpatient.

I know that money is tight for so many of us right now, and any help would be so, so appreciated by me and my family during this difficult time.
