I want to start with a thank you to every person who has shown our family love and support❣️ We have been shown kindness and compassion by so many people on this journey and I hope each of you know how thankful we are for the hands and feet of Jesus you have been to us The current plan for orthopedic is… 2 weeks of total bed rest ️ and elevating the ankle, 6-12 weeks of non weight bearing, wheelchair only ♿️ because of the risk that I could lose feeling in the good leg and fall again, neurology consult placed but has a long wait so trying to be safe while finding answers. Gained an official diabetes diagnosis and treatment when my pre-op fasting glucose was 212 . Not surprising with family history and current circumstances but need it controlled so my ankle will heal properly. A lot going on behind the scenes by some amazing people but we will be altering our living situation to be handicap accessible since these mobility changes are going to be long term and I need space to use my chair ‍‍➡️ and regain some independence and safety as I heal that just isn’t possible in a camper right now. We appreciate prayer as God works out the details. The plan for this weekend is rest . We plan to catch up on missed sleep and spend some time just mentally unwinding. Life has been nonstop lately and we need to catch our breath so we can keep fighting. Prayers for a calm weekend would mean so much!!!
